  • Buffy Coat

    Buffy coat products are made from 500mL whole blood units and contain on average 1X10^9 PBMCs and 2X10^9 leukocytes. These units also contain on average 4X10^11 RBCs.

  • Cryoprecipitate

    Cryoprecipitate is produced by thawing Fresh Frozen Plasma at 1-6C.

    The product is a rich source of fibrinogen, factor VIII, factor XIII, vWF & fibronectin.

  • Platelets

    Platelets made from whole blood units using the platelet rich plasma method contain on average 5.5X10^10 platelets suspended in approximately 50mL of plasma.
