After Infectious disease testing is complete, a large volume of the blood samples remain. These de-identified samples, along with gender, age, and race, can be requested for research use.

Donors may choose to provide blood samples that can be used for research purposes. These individuals provide informed consent to have samples drawn specifically for research use.
