The BioSharing Network is eight FDA licensed blood centers that have formed a corporation to provide seamless scale-up of donor derived source materials. With decades of experience recruiting and collecting donors, the network is uniquely positioned to supply both small and large scale quantities of source material. The network uses a single contract to allow clients to engage the entire network.

Large Donor Base
Each of our blood centers see thousands of donors each month. Many of these donors have a long term and trusting relationship with their local center. This trust has been built through years of demonstrated integrity, capability, and expertise in the collection of products using apheresis systems. Collectively, we draw over two million donors each year. Each of these donors is a candidate for allogeneic PBMC collections.

Recruitment Experts
Having spent decades recruiting donors for transplantation and transfusion products, we have a large, sophisticated donor recruitment system.
With hundreds of recruiters calling on universities, businesses, churches, and civic organizations, we can penetrate the entire community to deliver the message of the need for dedicated donors.
Additionally, our network has dedicated call centers that reach out to the existing donor base to encourage donations.

Apheresis Experts
Our network has collected apheresis derived leukopacks for more than 40 years. We began collecting peripheral blood hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPCs) when these were determined to be a viable alternative to bone marrow derived HPCs. We have continued our journey performing autologous collections for current licensed CAR-T therapies. Currently we collect leukopaks for us as GMP & RUO-Autologous Source Material, GMP & RUO-Allogeneic Source Material, and for Feeder Cell Source Material.

Ability to Customize Products
Our network approach allows us to customize products and procedures to meet each client’s individual needs. Once a process is standardized and validated, we can export that process to all the other network partners.

Integration into Healthcare Systems
Having provided blood for transfusion and transplantation, our centers are integrated partners of community hospitals. Our network has contracts and relationships with hundreds of hospitals and health systems.
